Emoji Meaning

A light-brown or yellow rectangular tag, as labelled and attached to a key. Depicted at various angles punched with a hole, generally with a metal ring or loop of string.

Commonly used to represent a price tag or metadata tag as well as for various senses of label.

Google's design features two tags, WhatsApp's is white. Apple removed its ring from earlier designs. Samsung previously featured the easter egg initials HMJ.

Label was approved as part of Unicode 7.0 in 2014 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
